National Fertilizers Limited, incorporated in 1974 and headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, operates primarily in fertilizer production, agro products trading, and industrial chemicals. The company produces and markets Neem Coated Urea, bio-fertilizers (solid and liquid), and other allied industrial products, while also trading imported and domestic fertilizers including DAP, MoP, NPK, as well as compost, seeds, and various agro products. It runs five gas-based ammonia-urea plants located in Nangal and Bathinda in Punjab, Panipat in Haryana, and two plants at Vijaipur in Madhya Pradesh. As the second-largest urea producer in India, NFL holds Navratna status and functions under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. The company focuses its operations within India.
