Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), incorporated in 1943, is headquartered in Udyogamandal, Kochi, Kerala, India. The company operates as a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. FACT was established to operate the first large-scale fertilizer plant in India and focuses on the manufacturing and selling of fertilizers, including nitrogenous and phosphatic types, as well as by-products of fertilizer manufacturing, Caprolactam, petrochemicals, and downstream chemicals. It serves primarily the fertilizer, chemical, and petrochemical industries, with operations centered in India, particularly Southern India. FACT plays a strategic role in supporting national food security by ensuring a stable supply of nutrients.
