Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, incorporated in 2018 following a demerger from GFL Ltd and formerly known as Inox Fluorochemicals Limited, operates as a global manufacturer of fluorine-based products. The company produces fluoro-polymers, fluoro-specialities, chemicals, and refrigerants, maintaining a vertically integrated business model supported by a captive fluorspar mine in Morocco alongside manufacturing units in India and the UAE. Part of the INOX Group of Companies, it is among the top global players in the fluoropolymers market—ranked either in the top four or five depending on sources—and is India’s only producer of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
