MOIL Ltd is an Indian mining company primarily engaged in the extraction of manganese ore. It is the largest producer of manganese ore in India and serves mainly the domestic steel industry. The company also operates plants that manufacture value-added manganese products including Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide and Ferro Manganese. MOIL Ltd functions within the mining, metals and mining, and steel industries. It is a Miniratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise owned by the Government of India and operates under the Ministry of Steel. Additionally, the company holds the status of a Schedule-A CPSE.
