Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL), formerly known as GSPC Distribution Networks Limited (GDNL), is a government company under section 2(45) of the Companies Act 2013. It operates in the natural gas, city gas distribution, and energy sectors, focusing on the distribution of natural gas from supply sources to demand centers and end customers across India. The company provides CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and PNG (Piped Natural Gas) connections serving industrial, commercial, domestic, and non-commercial segments. GGL maintains operations in 44 districts spanning six states—Gujarat (including South Gujarat, Central Gujarat, Saurashtra), Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh—and the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. It manages an extensive network of over 44,500 kilometers of gas pipelines. Gujarat Gas Limited is recognized as India’s largest city gas distribution player by volume and customer base, supplying natural gas across multiple sectors, including the transport sector through CNG.
